OREANDA-NEWS  The British company Lloyd's Register intends to revoke the certification of several dozen vessels owned by the Indian firm Gatik Ship Management, Reuters reported.

The reason for this decision is the transportation of Russian oil.

The English company is engaged in checking ships and issues them certificates to obtain insurance for cargo transportation and entry into ports. Gothic ShipManagement had to find new flags for more than 35 ships against the background of their recall by the International Ship Registry of Saint Kitts and Nevis. "If there is evidence, we remove the class and services from any vessels that, in the opinion of the relevant authorities, violate international sanctions," Lloyd's Register said in a statement.

Earlier, officials from the United States and Europe stated that they intend to impose sanctions against organizations from any country that help Russia circumvent the restrictions imposed.
