Matvienko pointed out the financial hole in the budget of the Russian Post
During the meeting of the Federation Council, Maxim Reshetnikov, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, speaks to the senators.
"We went to all the offers of the post office, and the financial situation (of it) is very sad and everyone knows it and no one takes action," Matvienko said. At the same time, she noted that the legislators met the proposals for regulating the Russian Post by adopting the necessary laws.
"Maybe we should do a thorough analysis of what is happening, maybe there are other processes going on there that need to be corrected with the participation of law enforcement agencies or others. But it is impossible, the "hole" in the financial mail is growing and growing and no one is responding. And we hide our head in the sand, we think - it will resolve, it will not resolve," she noted.
According to the legislator, it is necessary to develop the right financial model for the existence of the Russian Post and take the measures that the government considers necessary. "We need to urgently improve the situation. The further we cover our eyes, the worse it will get," Matvienko stressed.
