OREANDA-NEWS  It will be very expensive for the American fast food chain McDonald's to return to the Russian market. This opinion was expressed by Mikhail Goncharov, head of the Teremok restaurant chain of Russian cuisine, as quoted by RBC.

He noted that McDonald's would have to pay "a lot of money" to resume its operations in Russia. The cost of the buyback, Goncharov explained, will be determined primarily by the financial performance of the American network that replaced the domestic company Deliciously— period.

The latter, according to him, was able to build an efficient and profitable business in Russia after leaving McDonald's. "The performance of Yummy, Period is very good <...> For Americans, returning to Russia will be a shock," Goncharov summed up.
