OREANDA-NEWS Russia will be expecting representatives of the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul on May 16 from 10:00 a.m. for negotiations. This was announced by the head of the Russian delegation, Assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinsky, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

"Tomorrow morning, literally from 10 a.m., we will be waiting for the Ukrainian side, which should arrive at the meeting," Medinsky said.

Earlier it was reported that on Friday, May 16, a trilateral meeting of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine is scheduled in Istanbul. At the same time, there is no final decision on the possibility of holding a quadrilateral meeting on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict on Friday in Istanbul.

Prior to that, it became known that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, signed a decree on the creation of a delegation to participate in the negotiation process with Russia in Istanbul. It will be headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
