OREANDA-NEWS  Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev arrived in the city of Svetogorsk, Leningrad region, bordering NATO and Finland, TASS reports.

The ex-president of Russia also visited a car checkpoint, which is located right on the border with Finland. He stressed that Moscow would take into account the changed nature of relations with Helsinki due to joining the alliance.

"We looked at the border. Quiet, easy. No one goes anywhere," Medvedev jokingly noted.

Prior to that, the deputy chairman of the Security Council considered the words of Finnish President Alexander Stubb about the country's victory over the USSR to be a hint to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

On September 2, Stubb announced that Finland considers itself the winner in the war with the USSR, since it retained its independence.
