The government will send 1.5 billion rubles to enterprises in the border region

OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will allocate about 1.5 billion rubles to compensate for the downtime of employees in the border regions of the Russian Federation, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a cabinet meeting on Thursday.
The Prime Minister recalled that the Cabinet of Ministers is implementing a set of measures to support residents and businesses in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. In particular, entrepreneurs are granted a deferral in paying taxes and insurance premiums, preferential leasing of automotive and agricultural machinery is in effect, and free economic zones are operating.
"To support the teams, today we will allocate about 1.5 billion more rubles, they will be used to compensate for employee downtime. Such financing will help to retain qualified personnel and replenish, which is very important for companies, the working capital of enterprises in order to be able to quickly restore production and services," Mishustin stressed.
