Medvedev proposed to suspend diplomatic relations with the EU

OREANDA-NEWS Diplomatic relations with the European Union should be suspended, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev believes. He shared his opinion on the future of Russian-European relations on Telegram.
On September 10, the European Union banned Russians from entering with personal smartphones and cars.
According to Medvedev, Moscow does not need to apply symmetrical measures against Europeans. "We are not racists, unlike many leaders of those countries," he said.
The suspension of diplomatic relations would sow panic in Europe, the deputy chairman of the Security Council continued. "Because embassies are evacuated before certain events," Medvedev recalled.
