OREANDA-NEWS   MGIMO in 2022 attracted the most successful graduates of the country to study, despite the small number of enlarged training areas, all students enrolled in them scored 90 points or more on the Unified State Exam, follows from the results of the annual monitoring of the quality of admission to Russian universities in 2022, which is conducted by the HSE with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

"The absolute leader in attracting the most successful students to all available training areas in 2022 is the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). With a relatively small number of enlarged training areas (9), absolutely all of them attracted the best applicants with USE scores of 90+," the report says. It is noted that only 20 Russian universities have attracted the most successful graduates of the country to most of their educational programs, out of 14 leading universities with the admission of graduates who scored more than 80 points on the Unified State Exam, three universities are located in St. Petersburg and one in Nizhny Novgorod (the campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod Novgorod).

The HSE added that Innopolis University (Tatarstan) showed the highest result in the quality of admission, 52 students with an average score on the Unified State Exam of 99 and above were enrolled there, and this university also has the highest proportion of those enrolled without exams — 86.5%.
