OREANDA-NEWS  Non-oil and gas revenues of the budget of the Russian Federation for August amounted to 1.82 trillion rubles, which is 56.5% higher than last year, while oil and gas revenues have been significantly ahead of last year's values since September, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting on the draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period of 2025 and 2026.

According to him, the budget in August was executed with a surplus of 230 billion rubles. "This was largely due to a significant increase in non-oil and gas revenues. According to the results of the last month of summer, they exceeded 1 trillion 820 billion rubles. This is 56.5% more than last year's level," the head of government said.

Such indicators were the result of the active development of the economy, he explained.

"If we talk about oil and gas revenues, then, despite external pressure, they have recovered and, according to the Ministry of Finance, since September their trajectory against the background of an increase in oil prices is significantly ahead of last year's values," Mishustin said.
