OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the ministries by May 20 to work out the feasibility of preparing a policy document (strategy, doctrine or concept) for the development of bioeconomics in Russia, the government's press service reported.

The head of the Russian Cabinet gave instructions following the results of the strategic session on the national project "Technological support for Bioeconomics", which took place on March 4.

"Following the results of the strategic session, the head of government instructed to work out the expediency of preparing a program document – a strategy, doctrine or concept, which provides, among other things, a definition of the concept of bioeconomics, the strategic goal of its development, directions and markets for the use of its final products. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Energy will be engaged in this work. It should be completed by May 20, 2025," the press service said.
