OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova expressed regret over Russia's decision to close entry for a number of citizens of the country. This was stated by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Igor Zakharov, his words are transmitted by RIA Novosti.

"The decision of the Russian Federation is regrettable," he said.

Zakharov also stressed that Chisinau remains committed to countering external interference and any destabilizing actions regarding security and sovereignty.

On Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned Moldovan Ambassador Lilian Darius and protested to him because of Chisinau's unfriendly actions. The concern of the diplomatic department was caused by information that the republic would train servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its territory.
