OREANDA-NEWS  More than 20 large industrial enterprises have been launched in the Luhansk People's Republic in three years as part of the Russian Federation, the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik told RIA Novosti.

Referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions into Russia were held on September 23-27, 2022. According to the results of processing 100% of ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted voted for joining the Russian Federation, 98.42% in the LPR, 87.05% in the Kherson region, and 93.11% in the Zaporizhia region. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin on September 30 following the results of these referendums, after which he signed agreements on the admission of new regions to the state.

"We have begun the revival of the industrial sector, restoring cooperative ties and using multiple government support measures. In three years, 22 enterprises have been launched. Mainly in mechanical engineering, foundry and construction industries. Light industry enterprises have also resumed their work," said Pasechnik.
