OREANDA-NEWS At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in 2024, 1,073 agreements were signed for a total amount of almost 6.5 trillion rubles, the Roscongress Foundation reported.

"As a result of the forum, 1,073 agreements totaling 6 trillion 492 billion rubles were signed (agreements whose amount is not a trade secret are taken into account), 55 of them with representatives of foreign companies," the message says.

According to Roscongress, the most expensive was the VEB agreement.The Russian Federation and PJSC RusHydro on cooperation in the implementation of thermal generation modernization projects in the Far East. It is planned that the program for the creation and renovation of energy infrastructure in the region will be implemented using the "Project Financing Factory" mechanism.

The leader in the amount of concluded agreements among the subjects of Russia was St. Petersburg, which signed 69 agreements worth almost 1.3 trillion rubles. The largest number of agreements - 251 in total - were signed in the field of socio-economic development of the regions.
