More than eight thousand people became participants of the Kazan Forum

OREANDA-NEWS The XVI International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum" ended in Kazan and gathered 8.5 thousand participants and media representatives from 96 countries. This was reported by the Roscongress Foundation, citing Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the organizing committee.
According to Kobyakov's words, quoted by Roscongress, during the days of the forum, 8.5 thousand people from 96 countries, including Russia, attended the event. He noted that the business community from abroad actively participated in the discussion platform.
On May 13th, the meeting of the Russia - Islamic World group was dedicated to youth at KazanForum.
According to Kobyakov, the Forum has established itself as an important international business event for promoting economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and countries of the Islamic world. This dialogue with representatives from these countries will continue at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will take place from June 18-21.
