OREANDA-NEWS  Along with the warming that will come after prolonged rains, an invasion of mosquitoes is expected in Moscow. Pavel Glazkov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, warned residents and guests of the capital about this in an interview with the Moscow City News Agency.

According to the expert, the activity of insects will increase quickly. "There will be an invasion — their activity decreases with a cold snap, and as soon as the heat sets in, they become more active again. There are a lot of bloodsuckers this year," Glazkov said.

Earlier, forecaster Evgeny Tishkovets predicted that hot weather would set in next week in Moscow. According to him, on Tuesday, July 8, the air may warm up to 30 degrees Celsius.
