OREANDA-NEWS  The Bank of Russia still intends to draw a line under five years of high inflation, said the head of the regulator Elvira Nabiullina.

Earlier on Thursday, she said that the Bank of Russia does not seek "at any cost" to achieve inflation of 4% by the end of this year. At the same time, the regulator still maintains its forecast for the price growth rate of 4.5-5.5% by the end of the year.

"On the issue of our determination to reach the 4% target. We have not refused to draw a line this year after five years of high inflation," said the head of the Central Bank.
