OREANDA-NEWS. Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire agreement and used military aviation in the city of Martuni. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh on Facebook.

“The Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire in peaceful settlements as well. A few minutes ago the adversary used military aircraft on the city of Martuni, grossly violating the ceasefire agreement reached for humanitarian purposes,” the statement reads.

Earlier, Baku and Yerevan accused each other of violating the ceasefire. Azerbaijani authorities reported of the shelling of the city of Tartar by the Armenian side; Armenia informed about an enemy attack in the northeastern direction of the front line.

Before that, the opposing sides, with the participation of US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun, agreed to end hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh from 04:00 UTC on October 26.
