OREANDA-NEWS The public organization "Siberian Human Rights group "Guardian" demanded from the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to deprive the actress and singer Natalia Oreiro of Russian citizenship for GLBT propaganda, writes "Paragraph".

The activists wrote an appeal to the authorities after Oreiro took part in a gay Pride March in Buenos Aires on November 4.

"The organizers of the Pride March confirmed Oreiro's participation in the gala concert. These actions were committed consciously and purposefully," the document says.

The human rights group added that the star of the TV series "Wild Angel" has had the status of a "gay symbol" of Latin America for several years, and has also been participating in such "marches" since 2016.

Activists believe that the actress should be brought to administrative responsibility for LGBT propaganda and deprived of Russian citizenship.

Uruguayan actress and singer Natalia Oreiro, who lives in Buenos Aires, received a Russian passport in November 2021 at the Embassy of Argentina from the hands of Ambassador Dmitry Feoktistov.
