OREANDA-NEWS  The North Atlantic Alliance has increased the readiness of its air forces in the Black Sea area due to the actions of Russian aviation. This is reported by Reuters.

"The planes of the NATO air Police mission were brought to a higher degree of readiness as a result of the dangerous behavior of a Russian military aircraft next to a Polish Frontex military aircraft over the Black Sea near the coast of Romania on Friday," the agency reports, citing its source in NATO. Recall that on May 5, a Russian Su-35 intercepted a Polish L410 Turbolet aircraft over the Black Sea. The Polish border guards said in a statement that the actions of the Russian pilots caused an increased level of turbulence and led to dangerous difficulties in controlling the aircraft.

Moscow has not yet commented on Warsaw's message. After this incident, the EU border guards have changed their minds about flying over the Black Sea.
