OREANDA-NEWS The authorities of the Samara region have introduced quarantine due to an outbreak of bovine leukemia in ten villages, it follows from the resolutions of the veterinary department on the website of the regional government.

Quarantine is being introduced in five villages of Sergievsky district, two villages of Klyavlinsky district and the Klyavlino railway station, as well as in the village of Russian Vasilevka in Koshkinsky district and the village of Trostyanka (Privolzhsky district).

"I order: to establish restrictive measures (quarantine) and to determine the epizootic focus for bovine leukemia... the territory located in the village of Russian Vasilevka, Koshkinsky municipal district of the Samara region. To determine the territory within a radius of 1 km adjacent to the epizootic focus, within the boundaries of the village of Russian Vasilevka ..., a disadvantaged point for bovine leukemia," the order of the regional veterinary department states.
