OREANDA-NEWS  More than 80 non-residential real estate objects with a total area of about 5.3 million square meters will be evaluated by the end of 2023 according to the first Russian green standard system "Clover". This was reported to TASS on Tuesday at the National Center for Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

Projects that have received a high rating under the Clover system can be considered "green" and qualify for preferential financing, since earlier in March 2023 the Clover system was included by the government in the list of green projects of the Russian Federation.

"The Russian system of certification of non-residential real estate "Clover" has been launched. <...> At the moment, participation in the certification of objects under the "Clover" system has been confirmed by 52 objects of new construction and another 33 operated ones, whose certification will begin in the near future," the National PPP Center said.

The total area of certified buildings is about 5.3 million sq. m. The pilot phase of the project will last until the end of 2023. More than 60% of applications are for office real estate, followed by social facilities, retail and warehouse complexes, the developers of the standard added. New buildings, interior decoration projects, as well as objects of reconstruction or major repairs can be evaluated and receive a certificate of conformity.
