Oil companies reported maximum capacity utilization to meet demand

OREANDA-NEWS Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held his second meeting on the fuel market in a week.: During the meeting, representatives of the oil companies reported on the work on maximum capacity utilization, the Russian government said in a statement.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Finance, the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, and industry companies.
"A set of measures aimed at ensuring the priority saturation of the domestic market with petroleum products was presented. The issue of providing agricultural producers with fuel during seasonal sowing and harvesting operations was considered separately. The need for uninterrupted supplies for the needs of the agro-industrial complex was noted," the report says.
The situation with the provision of gasoline and diesel fuel to consumers, as well as the price dynamics for petroleum products, was also considered. "The situation is under constant control," the press release said.
In turn, representatives of oil companies reported on the work to maximize the utilization of production capacities in order to meet domestic demand.
It is noted that following the meeting, Novak instructed to create a predictive model of the development of the situation in the fuel market in the regional context with maximum detail of all possible parameters, which will improve the quality of monitoring, ensure timely identification of bottlenecks and enable preventive decision-making.
"All existing mechanisms should be configured in such a way as to ensure stable supplies and a balanced price level for all market participants," the Deputy Prime Minister said in a statement.
