OREANDA-NEWS Ozon announced plans to provide support to sellers who were injured in a UAV attack on the logistics center of the marketplace, which is located in the Samara region. The company told about this in its Telegram channel.
It is reported that, firstly, Ozon will not charge for the placement of goods in the affected warehouse. Secondly, the company intends to compensate for the service of additional packaging of goods before shipping to customers. "Cross-docking for all shipments sent to the Samara cluster will be free, even if we take them to another cluster," the marketplace said in a statement.
Penalties for exceeding the error index for cancellations, overdue shipments, and customer complaints for sellers across Russia will be disabled until September 22. Ozon will also not charge for the "Pay per Order" tool for goods that were in a warehouse in Chapaevsk and were included in canceled orders.
"We will not apply a mark-up for goods that we deliver to the Samara cluster from other regions. Starting from August 30, we will also set a three percent discount on the sales tariff for this cluster — you will receive it for any order," the company added.
Earlier, the governor of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev revealed the details of the drone raid on the Ozon logistics complex. According to him, the attack was large-scale.
