OREANDA-NEWS  In Russia, 97% of winter crops have been preserved in a normal state, which is a good base for the 2026 harvest, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The winter wedge in 2025 amounted to 20 million hectares. 97% of the crops have been preserved in a normal state, this is a good base for the 2026 harvest," Patrushev said.

According to him, the industry is working stably. The total area of the sowing campaign is planned to reach 83 million hectares in 2026.
