OREANDA-NEWS  Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, spoke about plans to ban blocking services in Russia. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Peskov recalled that it is not prohibited to use VPNs in Russia now. "I have no information about the opposite, about any plans in this regard," he said.

In early April, it was reported that the Ministry of Finance had asked major Internet platforms to help block VPN services. It was also claimed that in Russia these services may be banned from April 15.
