OREANDA-NEWS  The Presidents of Russia and Tajikistan, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon, discussed the documents signed in Dushanbe in a telephone conversation, the Kremlin's press service reported.

"The leaders expressed satisfaction with the constructive and meaningful nature of the bilateral negotiations. The decisions taken and the solid package of signed joint documents will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the further development of the Russian-Tajik strategic partnership and alliance," the publication says.

The Russian President also thanked Rahmon for his hospitality and warm welcome in Tajikistan and noted the high level of organization of the events held in Dushanbe.
