OREANDA-NEWS Contacts between Russia and China in the military and military-technical spheres are acquiring a new level. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Council (CVS) China's Zhang Yuxia on Wednesday, November 8.

The Russian leader noted that countries do not build military alliances following the example of the Cold Wars. According to Putin, at the same time, states react quite calmly to the creation of US military blocs with other countries, but at the same time strengthen their security depending on threats.

In addition, the Russian President asked to convey his best wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping. Putin stressed that the leaders of the countries have developed "friendly, good personal and business relations."

On the eve of November 7, the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Russia and the Ministry of Defense of China signed an agreement in Xi'an on the procedure for interaction of military prosecutor's offices. It was noted that 15 Russian employees will arrive in Beijing for advanced training within the framework of cooperation between the supervisory authorities of Russia and China in the scientific and educational sphere.

Earlier, on October 30, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu noted that interstate relations between Moscow and Beijing can be called exemplary. He pointed out that they serve as an example for other countries that are increasingly willing to be involved in cooperation between Russia and China.
