OREANDA-NEWS  Relations between Russia and China have reached their highest peak in their history. This was stated by Russian Leader Vladimir Putin during the document signing ceremony with Chinese President Xi Jinping, TASS reports.

"Our common heroic past and fighting brotherhood are a reliable foundation for the development and strengthening of Russian-Chinese relations. And these relations have reached the highest level in history," the Russian president noted.

Putin stressed that relations between Moscow and Beijing do not depend on the international situation or the situation within the two countries.

Earlier, Putin said that Russia and China are successfully increasing the production of films and there are many new films ahead for both countries. In particular, the Russian leader recalled the successful distribution of the joint film "Red Silk".
