OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the writer, co—chairman of the Fair Russia - For Truth party Zakhar Prilepin with the Order of Courage. The corresponding decree of the head of state was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In addition, the writer's colleague Alexander Shubin received the same award posthumously.

On June 5, it became known that the co—chairman of the Fair Russia - For the Truth party intends to return to service in Rosgvardiya after the amendment. Before that, the writer said that he had undergone four complex operations.

The car in which Prilepin and his 27-year-old security guard Alexander Shubin were located was blown up on May 6 near the village of Pionerskoye in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) qualified the incident as a terrorist attack.
