OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the construction of at least 10 industrial parks and technology parks in the Far East and the Arctic by 2030.

The list of instructions approved by the President following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum is published on the Kremlin's website.

"To the Government of the Russian Federation:... Taking into account the previously given instructions to ensure the creation of at least 10 industrial parks, technoparks and business parks in the Far Eastern Federal District and the onshore territories of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation by 2030 to accommodate small and medium-sized businesses engaged in production activities in areas of national technological priorities, as well as companies included in their cooperative chains.", - the list says.

The report must be submitted by February 1, 2026, and Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, has been appointed responsible.
