OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin has started talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This is reported by TASS.

The talks are taking place in the Kremlin after a meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which was attended by the Prime Minister of Armenia. This is the first meeting of politicians since December 2023. The Kremlin stressed that after that, Putin and Pashinyan had practically no contact, so today's conversation is especially important.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that many problems have accumulated between Russia and Armenia. According to Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian leader for International Affairs, the leaders of the two countries will "frankly discuss" the problematic issues that have accumulated recently in relations between Moscow and Yerevan.
