OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will have to prepare a special program for the restoration of warehouse facilities affected by attacks on logistics centers. The corresponding instruction was given by President Vladimir Putin during a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
He noted that "despite the recent terrorist attacks, the trade infrastructure of the Russian Federation is operating efficiently and sustainably": "Work is certainly underway, but everyone who works in this field is fully capable of meeting the challenges that time sets for us."
"At the same time, logistics and storage facilities, of course, require restoration, including with the participation of the state. In this regard, I ask the Government to adopt an appropriate program. At the same time, it should be taken into account that the restoration of damaged facilities must be carried out at a qualitatively new technological level," the head of state said.
In the context of supporting infrastructure investments, Putin mentioned the need to fine-tune existing measures.
"We have already built a range of investment support, including tax incentives, administrative mechanisms, subsidizing loans, and so on. I think it's right if the government re-evaluates the effectiveness of these measures, analyzes their demand for business at both the federal and regional levels, and then, together with the Central Bank and business associations, makes a proposal on how to improve the investment support system," he said, noting that the task of the state is - "to achieve a steady, steady growth in capital investments, including in the modernization of production facilities, in increasing labor productivity on a new technological base using autonomous systems and industrial robots, digital platforms and solutions in the field of artificial intelligence."
