OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message to the participants of the closing ceremony of the All–Russian action "Memory Watch - 2023" noted the contribution of the movement to the study of heroic pages of national history and the education of young people, the corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin's website.

It is noted that this year the action is timed to two dates at once – the 35th anniversary of the first All-Union gathering of search teams and the 10th anniversary of the creation of the "Search Movement of Russia".

"Today, the search movement unites with its high mission a large, cohesive team of caring, active, sincerely loving people. You are engaged in an extremely important, noble cause – you participate in search expeditions in all regions of the country affected by the Second World War: in the Adjimushkai quarries of Kerch and the Kuril island of Shumshu, on Smolensk Land, the islands of Gogland and Sommers in the Gulf of Finland," the telegram says.
