OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin will chair a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on Thursday, together with other leaders of the EAEU member states who have arrived in Moscow, he will review the progress of implementation.

The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (VEEC) is the supreme body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The EAEU includes Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia. In 2023, Russia will preside over the bodies of the Union. According to the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, the leaders of the EAEU countries will have a full-format meeting, the work will be carried out both in a narrow and expanded format.

It is also planned to sign the final documents. The meeting participants plan to review the implementation of the priorities of the Russian chairmanship in the association in 2023.
