OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a ceremony in the Kremlin awarding prizes in the field of literature and art for works for children and youth, as well as awards for young artists.

As previously recalled in the Kremlin press service, the prizes are awarded for the creation of talented works of literature and art, the implementation of creative and research projects in the field of art, librarianship, museum and publishing activities, art education, preservation of cultural heritage, preservation and development of national cultures of the peoples of Russia.

In total, three prizes are awarded for young cultural figures (up to 35 years old) and authors of works for children and youth. The prize is awarded to both one applicant and a team of up to three people.

On Tuesday, March 21, the decrees of the head of state on awarding the relevant prizes were published. Among the young cultural figures, the prize winners were ballet dancer Sergei Polunin, sculptor Ekaterina Pilnikova and director Aidar Zabbarov.
