OREANDA-NEWS. The head of the pro-presidential Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, David Arakhamia, said that there would be no "full-scale attack" by the Russian Federation on Ukraine in the near future with a probability of 99.9%.

Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that he did not see the prerequisites for a large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in the coming days.

"From a military point of view, as the military explained to us, a full-scale attack is impossible. According to the coordination actions, our intelligence does not see that the Russians are directly preparing. 99.9% that nothing will happen the day after tomorrow (February 16)," ZN.ua quotes Arakhamia.

At the same time, he did not rule out that the Russian Federation could collect the required number of military personnel in a month or two. “In addition, dozens of Russian tanks got stuck in swamps during the exercises, and now they have very big problems how to get this equipment,” he added.

Kiev and Western states have recently warned about the possible "aggressive actions" by Russia near the borders of Ukraine. Moscow has denied such accusations many times, adding that it does not threaten any country and does not want to attack anyone, and claims of "Russian aggression" are used as an excuse to place more NATO military equipment near Russian borders.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted earlier that Western statements about "Russian aggression" and the possibility of helping Kiev defend itself against it are both ridiculous and dangerous. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is moving troops within its territory and at its own discretion. According to him, it does not threaten anyone and should not worry anyone.
