REC has developed a tool for exporters, the Incoterms constructor

OREANDA-NEWS Russian Export Center (VEB GroupRussia) presented a new free tool for exporters, the Incoterms 2020 Constructor, the center reports.
"It is available in the online library "Exporter's Knowledge Base". This service is designed to simplify the choice of the delivery basis in international contracts and will help users determine the terms of delivery that meet their needs," the message says.
All that is required of the user is to answer a few simple questions, and the system will provide appropriate explanations on the recommended Incoterms 2020 delivery basis.
The constructor consists of 4-8 questions about the type of transport, the type of cargo, and the distribution of costs and risks. Based on the responses received, the system automatically selects the delivery conditions corresponding to the specified parameters. Detailed explanations are provided for each basis. They contain information about the area of responsibility of the seller and the buyer, the stages of risk transfer, as well as responsibilities for insurance, customs clearance and transportation payments.
Users can combine different scenarios depending on current requests, which makes the service flexible and convenient. The Incoterms 2020 constructor is designed not only for experienced exporters, but also for companies planning to start exporting activities, providing them with the opportunity to learn in an interactive format.
