Rescuers discovered a landslide in a Crimean cave where a group of tourists had gone missing

OREANDA-NEWS One of the two groups of rescuers sent to search for the missing group of amateur spelunkers in the caves of Crimea has encountered a collapse, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
“The meeting on the routes was planned in the area of the ‘Marl Hall’. However, the group that was following the route from the entrance of the Red Cave reached the ‘Two Batteries’ Hall (the route is about 5 kilometers long). According to preliminary information, the rescuers have found a narrow passage due to the collapse, which prevents the group from moving further,” the report says.
According to the agency, the personnel have returned to the entrance of the Red Cave.
