OREANDA-NEWS  Dmitry Rogozin, former general director of the state corporation Roscosmos, head of the group of military advisers and the scientific and technical center Tsarskie Volki, said that after being wounded in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), he will have an operation. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

"I have a wound, a metal fragment measuring 3×4 mm entered above the right shoulder blade. There is an operation to be performed. Several other people close to me were injured," the ex—head of Roscosmos said.

According to Rogozin, his team has been living in the Shesh-Besh hotel on the outskirts of Donetsk, which was shelled from Ukraine, for the last months. For eight years, the AFU has never shelled this place, he noted.

Rogozin was wounded in Donetsk on the night of Thursday, December 22. At the time of the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the ex-head of Roscosmos was in the Shesh-Besh hotel. According to Baza, Rogozin received a shrapnel wound to the soft tissues of the head, a penetrating shrapnel wound to the buttocks, as well as a penetrating shrapnel wound to the left thigh.

Subsequently, Rogozin's assistant said that the ex-head of Roscosmos assessed his condition as satisfactory. At the same time, doctors will not be able to extract a fragment of a mine that got into the spine — it was considered unrecoverable.
