Roscosmos told about 75 thousand saved lives

OREANDA-NEWS The international COSPAS‑SARSAT system has helped save more than 75,000 lives. Roscosmos told about this in its Telegram channel.
The state corporation recalled that the COSPAS‑SARSAT disaster detection system is based on a global network of satellites that close the "blind spots" on the planet and "help rescue people at sea, in the sky and on land."
The state-owned company calls the Russian Space Systems Holding Company (RKS), part of Roscosmos, a key developer of onboard and ground-based equipment.
