OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and Belarus are expected to sign an agreement on mutual guarantees in the field of security, the security concept of the Union State in December at a meeting of the Supreme State Council, said Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

"We pay more attention to the issues of ensuring the security of the Union State, coordinating the development of a bilateral interstate agreement on mutual guarantees in this area and assisting our security councils in working on the concept of security of the Union State, and we look forward to the simultaneous adoption of these documents during the December meeting of the Supreme State Council," Galuzin said at the session of the Union State: 25 years of integration - results and new challenges" within the framework of the SPIEF.
