OREANDA-NEWS The Protocol on phytosanitary requirements for millet exported from Russia to China and a number of other documents were signed following the results of the Russian-Chinese talks held in Beijing, which were held by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang with the participation of delegations of the countries.

In particular, the protocol on grain requirements will be in force between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China. Another protocol was signed between the same departments - on phytosanitary requirements for medicinal plant raw materials for Chinese medicine exported from Russia. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China on deepening investment cooperation in the field of trade in services. In particular, the parties agreed to develop interregional trade in services, to encourage the participation of enterprises of the two countries in exhibitions and fairs, to encourage enterprises to joint events in different industries. Among other things, a memorandum of friendship and cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Main State Administration for Physical Culture and Sports of the People's Republic of China.

In addition, the parties adopted a joint statement of intent to extend the pilot program "Accelerated Patent Filing" between Rospatent and the State Administration of the People's Republic of China on Intellectual Property issues.
