OREANDA-NEWS   The current situation in the world shows how urgent and priority the fight against the return of Nazi ideology is, including for Russia, said at the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) UN Chairman of the Russian delegation Kristina Sukacheva.

"It is gratifying that most countries of the world still objectively assess the results of the Second World War and understand the importance of preserving the fundamental principles of the United Nations to prevent the recurrence in the future of the horrors of war generated by the criminal ideology and practice of Nazism. The current situation in the world clearly proves the relevance and topicality of this initiative, which is a priority for Russia and our like-minded people," she said.

The building of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Sukacheva added that the topic of combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance is one of the priorities for Russia in the human rights field.
