OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government has restricted border crossings at individual railway checkpoints with Finland, Latvia and Estonia.
"Starting from July 1, 2026, the movement of persons, vehicles, goods and cargo through railway checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation in certain sections will be temporarily suspended," the document says on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
Among them: Vyborg (Leningrad Region), Vyartsilya (Republic of Karelia), Lyutya (Republic of Karelia), Saint Petersburg — Finlyandsky (Saint Petersburg), Svetogorsk (Leningrad Region), Pechory-Pskovskiye (Pskov Region), Pytalovo" (Pskov region).
