OREANDA-NEWS  Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), suggested what the year 2025 will be like for world politics. He said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Naryshkin gave a forecast for 2025 and warned that it would become turbulent. "It is already clear that 2025 will not be a peaceful year. A lot depends on how much common sense and endurance regional and global players have," he said.

The head of the SVR stressed that there is now a transition from a unipolar world order to a "new, just world order." In his opinion, this process is not easy, therefore it carries risks.

Earlier, Naryshkin expressed hope for establishing contacts with the administration of the new US President Donald Trump. Before that, he spoke about Trump's candidacy for the post of head of the CIA, John Radcliffe. He noted that he was not familiar with him, but stressed that he had heard a lot about Radcliffe as a professional.
