OREANDA-NEWS Russia did not import Georgian potatoes in July for the first time since February of this year, having "played back" the surge in such imports in May-June, RIA Novosti found out after studying the data of the Georgian customs.

So, in May, shipments immediately increased 43 times in monthly terms - then they reached 395.9 thousand dollars against 9.2 thousand in April.

The growth in June, although more modest in dynamics, was also quite noticeable - shipments in early summer exceeded May volumes by 2.3 times, amounting to 925.8 thousand dollars.
