OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, to Moscow for consultations, according to a statement from the ministry's official representative, Maria Zakharova. However, the reasons for this decision have not been explained.

On May 24th, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, was summoned to Moscow for consultations by the Foreign Ministry, according to a press release.

Earlier on May 22nd, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan revealed that he was aware of two CSTO member states that had assisted Azerbaijan during military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020, though he did not disclose which specific countries were involved. The Collective Security Treaty Organization includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
