OREANDA-NEWS  A production and logistics center has been built in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan with the support of Russia, the construction cost of which amounted to more than 200 thousand dollars, the press service of the Russian embassy in Bishkek told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

"A production and logistics center was opened in the Batken region, created with the financial support of the Russian Federation through the UN World Food Program," the representative of the press service said. According to him, the complex consists of three facilities: a vegetable storage facility with an insulated van that allows you to keep vegetables fresh, a processing complex and a mobile laboratory in which the quality of products will be checked.

"The logistics center will provide local producers with a reliable market for their products, as well as create new jobs in the region," the embassy said. According to local authorities, the cost of building the center exceeded 200 thousand dollars.
