OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is raising issues of sanctions and restrictions in the G20 that affect the global economy, Denis Agafonov, Russia's sherpa in the G20, said in response to a question from RIA Novosti.

"If we look at sanctions from an economic point of view, these are the same restrictions and barriers as any tariffs and other non-market regulatory measures. Therefore, of course, within the framework of the G20, we pay attention to these stories," Agafonov said.

He stressed that sanctions certainly have an impact on the global economy.
