OREANDA-NEWS  Russia categorically rejects the accusations of the use of chemicals voiced during a meeting of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization, Vladimir Tarabrin. The text of his speech is available to RIA Novosti.

The diplomat spoke at a closed meeting of the 113th session of the OPCW Executive Council, which is being held in The Hague from October 6-9.

According to Tarabrin, the information provided by the Ukrainian side is not trustworthy, as it is not supported by concrete evidence.

The Permanent Representative also noted that the increase in the number of reports from Kiev about the alleged use of chemicals does not make these allegations more reliable. In his opinion, the Ukrainian side continues to disseminate unconfirmed information, without providing convincing facts to substantiate them.

Earlier, Tarabrin said that the West ignores data on the use of toxic chemicals by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In April, Tarabrin reported that chemical weapons were being supplied to Ukraine by mercenaries and representatives of Western intelligence agencies.
